Updated: Dec 22, 2025

Khamani Edwards is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur and founder of KJ’s Craft Time

At just 18 years old, Khamani Edwards is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur and founder of KJ’s Craft Time, dedicated to creating inclusive craft boxes that empower children aged 4 to 11. Her mission is to reduce screen time and ensure children of all abilities can enjoy arts and crafts without barriers.

Living with Dystonia, a neurological condition affecting her mobility, Khamani turned personal challenges into an opportunity to innovate. She developed a Special Educational Needs (SEN) range featuring adaptive craft tools like easy-grip scissors and non-spill paint pots, ensuring children with disabilities can participate fully.

Her vision for KJ’s Craft Time includes expanding the SEN range, launching sensory craft boxes, and introducing a subscription model that delivers new inclusive craft boxes to homes and schools.
