Who is Zarah Henry and Why Her Story Matters
I am Zarah Henry, founder and CEO of Heaven’s Delights, a luxury bakery brand in the heart of Birmingham known for elegant handcrafted cupcakes and sweet treats. My work is more than flavour and creativity. It is about joy, passion and representation. It is about proving that young people can turn an idea into reality through confidence and belief.

The Journey from Cupcake Dreams to CEO at Sixteen

My baking journey began when I was seven through community projects and giving back. By eleven, I created my first business plan. That simple action became the foundation for what is now a nationally recognised brand.
My first business was Sweetie Pies. I later rebranded to Heaven’s Delights in 2018 to reflect my expanded vision and commitment to quality and innovation.
Since then, my business has grown in extraordinary ways. I earned my first award in 2022. In 2023, I was featured in The Voice magazine and invited to speak on BBC Radio. I hosted the Cupcake Brunch in Birmingham for two successful years and I am preparing to take it to London with the goal of reaching international audiences.
I have exhibited at The Business Show in 2023 and 2024 and featured on BRMB Radio. Meeting Steven Bartlett at the Black Business Show was a highlight that motivated me further. In 2025, I proudly received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award which was a milestone for both myself and my team.

Proud Youth Ambassador of the 21UP Movement
I am honoured to serve as a youth ambassador for the 21UP Movement. Their dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for young people aligns perfectly with my mission. The 21UP Movement gives young people real empowerment, practical support and the confidence to chase their goals.
